Micropia
My involvement was from concept to end-production in many of the exhibits. One of my responsibilities was the “Tree of Life” which shows taxonomic data relations from the root of all life down to single species in a generative designed steel sculpture. I wrote a custom design tool just to create this data sculpture.
Another responsibility was the final concept and design for the centerpiece of Micropia. It is an approx. 10 × 5 meters reactive monitor wall which communicates the astonishing size differences between different microbiological life forms. Visitors can collect microbes throughout the exhibition with a stamp card and then compare them on this big wall.
